Sydney Care offers semi-independent care for 16 – 18-year-old children. We are noted specialists in the care service for individuals who are at risk to themselves or others including ex-offenders or children with complex needs. Our staff and home units can provide an environment to contain complex behaviour and carry out the tail end of ex-offender rehabilitation. We operate and deliver a measurable approach to the care service with individual cases. Our trained and experienced staff monitor and report on self-development targets on a weekly basis through our snapshot reports.

Our care service is deeply integrated into learning and training – keeping our individuals busy with a defined career direction. Our stakeholder relationships are competent and detailed. Information advice and guidance offered by designated staff is an ongoing process even when residents leave their homes as fully independent individuals.

At present Sydney Care runs 3 units in Romford Essex and another under preparation in Barking. Sydney Care is able to offer its service to all local authorities within the M25 orbital serving over 15 boroughs within the southeast of the country beyond its core areas of operation in Essex.

At our homes, we encourage interactivity and bonding often including weekly leisure outings and seasonal activities within and outside of the local area.

Our ethos at Sydney Care is to prepare individuals for their futures, whilst assessing and tailoring interventions to assist in their development. As well as providing 24-hour staffed accommodation and key work sessions, we are also able to provide assessments on individuals who are placed with us to ensure that their individual needs are met whilst we prepare them to lead independent lives for the future.

We are able to provide regular sessions where this has been identified by the Local Authority as a need. Our sessions are documented in-depth and also include an analysis of need and understanding to assist with the ongoing monitoring of individuals to ensure effective case management.
